The
Newfoundland Power
Trailblazers
is an association of Newfoundland
Power retired
employees and NP employees with 30 or more years of service. At present the
association has more than 650 members.
Aims & Objectives
The aims and objectives of the association
are to provide a means of friendly association for its
members; to foster among them a continuing fellowship and a spirit of mutual
helpfulness; to participate in activities that are of service to the community;
to contribute to the progress of the association; to promote the happiness and
usefulness of the membership; to represent the membership on issues that affect
their well-being.
What We Do
We
have
annual dinners
in each Area of the Company, we operate
and maintain the
Rattling Brook
resort, we organize:
card games,
golf
tournaments, BBQs, lobster boils, birthday dinners etc., we maintain this
web site,
we send birthday cards and a
newsletter
to members of the association, we inform
the membership of Trailblazers and
Company events, we help build the
NP Christmas
parade floats used in cities and
towns across Newfoundland, we help
NP on Envirofest days
and other events.
